My journey to becoming a tile artisan began over a decade ago. I was living in Redwood City, CA and working for an Italian artisan by the name of Mark Malfatti. He took me under his wing and showed me the art of tile design and installation. I mentored with him on residential and commercial tile projects spanning the Bay Area for many years. The most valuable lesson he bestowed was the importance of executing this meticulous craft with great care, integrity, and dedication. I have taken these values with me into every tile project since.
